Geleon were commissioned by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) to inspect a number of existing W-beam guardrail installations throughout TMR’s South Coast Region and undertake detailed design related activities to remove existing and install new guardrail infrastructure that is compliant with the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH) guideline.

Documentation was prepared for a number of sites on the Mt Lindesay Highway, Beaudesert – Boonah Road, Cunningham Highway, Beaudesert – Nerang Road, Beaudesert – Beenleigh Road and Boonah – Rathdowney Road, with details also needing to be provided to facilitate connection to a number of non-standard bridge barriers.
